Testing
The requirements that were stated before need to be tested one way or another, the list of requirements are listed on 1d on the introduction of the project report click here to go to the project report document. A summary of the methods that were used to test this requirements are in figure A. In figure B are the results of the test, the devices that were used in the process of testing are listed on appendix G in the project report.

A scale was used for the weight.
Some measuring devices like a caliper and tape measure were used to measure the span and other dimensions like the diameter hole.
Testing the lifting system was visual and measuring the center of the road deck up to almost a vertical position.
Sand was used to testing the load on the bridge.

April 8, 2021
The bridge was placed on two books 400 mm apart. A digital caliper was used for the hole diameter.

April 9, 2021
An IR controller was used to lower or raise the bridge with the help of an Arduino nano. A timer was used to measure the time.

This test consists of putting a block attached with a string to one side of the bridge and pull it from the other side; the requirement is that the road deck must be free from any obstruction to let pass through a 32 mm wide by 25 mm high block, representing a vehicle.

April 18, 2021
The bridge was placed on a small scale to measure its weight.
The required value: 85 grams.
The estimated value without apparatus was 80 grams
The actual value without apparatus and counterweigh is 83 grams

April 22, 2021
For this test the bridge was placed on a 400 mm span with a bucket attached to it, then sand was placed on the bucket up to 20 kg.
Required value 18.9 to 20 kg
Actual value 21.3 kg
